Angels Fitness Challenge 2019

Posted on Wednesday 31st July 2019

Motivated by putting fitness first to raise funds to change young lives.

Back in May, Angels put out a call for participants to join us in our 2019, “Angels Fitness Challenge”. The ethos of this challenge is to get motivated; put your fitness first, meet new people and encourage each other as a team whilst aiming for the ultimate goal of a healthier version of yourself. Plus, at the same time helping change lives of underprivileged children in Asia by being sponsored for your efforts.

On May 4th, 20 participants joined our Angels at the Hong Kong Football Club, to have their initial assessment. The four exercises were to become the benchmark for them to beat after the six-week challenge. Thanks to the support of several super fit instructors, Steph from Calibrate, Emma and Charlotte from Coastal Fitness, Deanna and Nate at EPT Fitness and Dan from Precision Fitness we were able to keep them all motivated and on track for success.

On the 22nd of June the final assessments brought everyone back together ready for action and focused on beating their initial results. We announced our ‘Angels Fitness Challenge’ winners and celebrated everyone’s individual achievements that same night, over nibbles and drinks at the fabulous bar, Slide On 79

Well done to the following:

  • Top Fund Raising Individual - Helen Dowding
  • Top Fund-Raising Team - Team Valley

We thank all the wonderful prize donors; Raffles Hotel - Cambodia , Everything Organic, Dining Concepts, Strive Fitness, Glam Goddess, Joint Dynamics, Calibrate by Steph, Coastal Fitness, Kinship, Bust a Rut, 2XU and Employees Only.

We thank every single Angels Fitness Challenge participant for their hard work and their awesome support networks in making this another Angel successful event raising over HK$100,000 for the children of Bali and Cambodia. This will go to making a huge difference in young lives, just as it made changes for all the team members.
